2022 - A year in focus

2022 was one of APM Design's busiest year on record. Throughout the year we were fortunate enough to work on some really exciting projects across the UK within a variety of industy sectors. We now reflect on the last year and consider some of the trends which give an insight into what makes APM Design unique.

2022 Project Locations

APM Design work nationwide, and have worked even further afield in the Middle East and Central America. Last year almost ¼ of our projects were located over 100miles away from our head studio, with almost 1/3 being within 25 miles. Our closest project last year was less than half a mile from our Darwen studio whilst the furthest site was 240 miles away.

No matter your location, APM Design can assist you with your project.

2022 Industry Sectors

APM Design work across all industry sectors.

Whilst over 50% of last years projects were in the hospitality sector we still worked on a large number of commercial, retail and residential projects. Around 5% of our work last year was in the public sector.

No matter the nature of your project, APM Design are happy to assit.

2022 - Our Clients

APM Design take pride in how we treat our Clients and feel fortunate that so many of them keep in touch and continue to work us.

Last year over 70% of projects came from previous Clients, a further 15% came from Client referrals.

Don’t be shy if we haven’t worked together in the past, get in touch - we would love the opportunity to work with you on your project.

2022 - Total Project Values

APM Design understand that not all Clients have unlimited funds to throw at their projects.

Last year just under 50% of our Client’s total project spend was under £50k. That’s design, construction, furniture and all the finishing touches. 10% of our projects were under £10k. The majority of our Clients spent between £10k and £50k on the projects where APM had been appointed.

In spite of APM working on a lot of budget friendly designs, 15% of our projects last year had a budget of over £1million.

APM ensure that all our Clients recieve an industry leading service, no matter what their budget.

2022 - Project Timeframes

APM Design take pride in not letting our Client’s down and only take appointments if we know we can deliver within their deadlines.

Last year 40% of APM projects were designed and built within 6 months of our appointment.

We also work with plenty of Clients who have the luxury of time to plan projects well in advance. Last year 1/3 of our jobs were for projects being planned for a years time.

If you are planning a project, whether that be next month or next year, feel free to get in touch with APM Design.

2022 - Services Commissioned

APM Design are award winning commercial Interior Designers, but that’s not all we do!

Last year, just shy of 40% of our projects involved APM being appointed as a project consultant. These services included; project management, quantity surveying and procurement advice. Having APM oversee the project or budget means that Clients can take a back seat and take comfort from knowing their industry leading design will be delivered for their budget and within an agreed timeframe.

Just under 10% of our projects saw APM appointed to work on planning permission or listed building applications. We have a well earnt reputation with a number of local planning authorities and can work on our Clients behalf to secure planning consent on both residential and commercial projects. APM also work on a number of heritage projects ensuring the jobs remain viable for our Clients whist protecting the heritage of the historical sites.

No matter what your requirements may be, feel free tocontact APM Design to see if we can help you on your project.
