Hotel Refurbishment Project
APM Design were employed as Interior Designer for the +£7 million hotel refurbishment.
The Ro Hotel (formerly known as the Windermere Hydro) was one of the Lake Districts first spa hotels and dates back to the mid 19th century. APM were responsible for the Interior Design of all customer facing areas of the hotel, including; 87 bedroom and suites, reception and corridor areas, customer WCs, new bar and restaurant.
APM worked throughout the various COVID-19 lockdowns to ensure that the refurbishment works to the Grade II listed building were completed in time for the hotel to reopen to the public in line with the easing for Government restrictions.
