APM Design were awarded the opportunity to design Liverpool Football Club's new Museum in the Summer/Autumn of 2013. Following a strong design pitch, we were given the task of transforming Liverpool's tired and dated football museum into a contemporary exhibition space which celebrates Liverpool's success to date. The client was keen to retain the identity of the club and ensure the fans would relate to the new look of the museum.

The design comprises of zonal areas as opposed to working a chronological order - broken down into areas for Goalkeepers, Midfielders, Strikers and Defenders, with further tribute to 'With a Liverbird on my Chest' & 'The Boss' along with a 'Timeline' room - each designed to follow on from the zone before it - but with its own separate identity. The biggest element to the refurbishment included the digital wall are - allowing Liverpool FC to tell their story and showcase some great sporting moments in history through 2D and motion graphic story telling.
