We are a multidisciplinary interior design consultancy based in the North West who operate across the UK. Our design team comes from a broad range of backgrounds which enables us to operate effectively across the Leisure, Commercial & Retail sectors. A diverse range of project examples is a testament to this, from luxury executive suites at Manchester City Football Club to the design of oil rig catering facilities in the gulf of Mexico, APM provides a truly all-encompassing design service.
Established for over 25 years APM Design have been commissioned by many high profile clients including the Lowry Centre, Intel, BAE systems and the BBC as well as working with local businesses and individual clients.
We offer a range of 2D & 3D CAD services, including visualisation at the conceptual stage of a project and a technical drawing package during the fit-out. Unlike many practices we do not outsource these services and produce everything in-house.
We believe in supporting UK manufacturing and will always do our best to specify products 'Made in Britain' where possible.

Feb 2013 - APM are pleased to welcome Amanda Goodwin as the newest member of our design team. Amanda is a graduate of the university of Northumbria, with a 1st class honours degree in interior design and has joined us as a junior designer.

APM were commissioned to design Hale Country Club, comprising of three floors and nestled in the quiet countryside on the fringes of Hale. The club provides a truly comprehensive health and fitness facilities, luxurious indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a selection of contemporary food and drink offerings and plays host to a positively sumptuous spa.
APM provided a broad design service which included space planning all three floors from a basic building shell and producing a detailed CAD drawing package. In addition to interior design, furniture and lighting proposals APM's involvement included fine detail from the intricacies of the fabric sculptures suspended above the pool to the exact grout specification used for floor tiling.

APM Design provides computer generated visuals, coloured zonal plans and synthetic 3D walkthroughs / flythroughs as part of interior design schemes; but can also be offered as standalone services. Our range of 3D services can accommodate most budgets, just let us know your requirements and we will be happy to provide you with a quotation.
Many of our clients still prefer to see their interior design visualisations presented with hand drawn artistic impressions. We can produce sketched concepts and watercolour visuals as part of our overall commercial interior design package or as a standalone service - please enquire for further details.
As well as producing 3D walkthroughs APM design uses parametric modelling software to produce 3D models of interior design fittings such as reception desks, counters, kiosks and various furniture and shopfitted items. In addition to producing manufacturing drawings, 3D models allow our clients to understand the finite details of a scheme prior to any fit-out taking place.
